Custom & Made-to-Order (The Process)
Custom vs. Made-to-Order: What’s the difference?
Made-to-Order
These are my existing designs that I don't keep "on the shelf." Once you place an order, I begin the process of creating or ordering that specific piece for you.
- Timeline: Ships within the timeframe listed on the product page (typically 2 weeks).
- Changes: No design changes are possible once the order is placed.
Custom Orders
This is a collaborative process where we create something unique based on your specific request.
- The Process: After you reach out, I’ll provide a quote and a rough timeline. Once the deposit is paid, I’ll begin the design work.
- Revisions: To keep projects moving forward, each custom order includes two rounds of minor revisions (e.g., color tweaks or small layout adjustments).
Significant design pivots or additional rounds of changes will be billed at an hourly rate of $50. - Approval: I will send a final digital proof for your approval before production begins. Once you give the "green light," the design is locked in.
